The client
An audit firm with four decades behind it
Artia Poreia is an audit firm based in Patras, offering audit, tax and consulting services to businesses of every size. It is a member of Reanda International, the accounting network founded around Reanda CPA in Beijing, and runs a Reanda China Desk for clients trading with China.
The problem
News that never stops, on a site that has to stay simple
An audit firm's clients come back for one thing above all: what changed this week in tax and accounting rules. Artia Poreia publishes several announcements a month, often with PDFs and tables.
Every new announcement used to mean another hand-copied page, with the header, menu and footer pasted in again, and the lists of news renumbered by hand.
01
A firm presented as it is
- Services, one page each
- Audit, tax and consulting each have their own page, alongside the firm's story, its transparency report and the Reanda China Desk.
- Greek and English
- Every page has an English counterpart, for international clients and for the Reanda network.
- Calm, in black and white
- A full-width slider for the three services and the firm's 42 years set large on the homepage, with nothing competing for attention.
02
Publishing in one step
- One file per announcement
- A new announcement is a single file with its title and date, plus one line in the news list. The build does the rest.
- Lists that page themselves
- The news archive is split into pages of twelve automatically, newest first, in both languages.
- Shared parts, written once
- Header, menu, footer, contact form, services and map live in one place, so a change appears on every page at the same time.
03
Nothing to maintain
- Static and fast
- Plain HTML served straight from the server: no database, no CMS, no plugins to patch.
- Enquiries straight to the inbox
- The contact form sends each enquiry to the firm's mailbox, with the visitor's address ready to reply to.
