The client
A skincare range, used every day
Cleanance is Eau Thermale Avène's range for oily and blemish-prone skin, with Cleanance Comedomed, a concentrate against blemishes, at its centre. A product like this works only if it is used properly and every day — and that is where most people give up.
The app was built to sit between the product and the person using it: to tell them what their skin needs, and to keep them to the routine.
01
Start with the skin
- A test, not a catalogue
- The app opens on a short test — oily skin, blackheads and the other concerns the range treats — and shows the results as the Cleanance products that answer them.
- A profile of one's own
- The answers become the user's profile, so the app speaks to their skin rather than to everyone's.
02
A routine to keep
- My care programme
- Step by step: the Cleanance cleansing gel morning and evening, then the Cleanance MAT emulsion for a matte finish — what to use, when and how.
- Calendar and reminders
- A calendar to keep the routine up to date and reminders to come back to it, with favourites saved for later.
03
A reason to come back
- Weekly prize draws
- Every user with a completed profile takes part in a weekly draw — a simple incentive to finish the test and keep the app on the phone.
